Chris Kramer and Laura Curry Presenting at National Academies’ Transportation Law Workshop
Gust Rosenfeld attorneys Chris Kramer and Laura Curry will be presenting on several Eminent Domain topics at the 56th Annual Workshop on Transportation Law sponsored by the Transportation Research Board (TRB) of the National Academies July 30-August 2, 2017 in Salt Lake City, Utah. Chris and Laura will be giving two presentations: Eminent Domain for Agency Lawyers; and Busting the Budget: the trend toward awarding damages for temporary or direct loss of access. Chris will also participate in a panel discussion on Recent Developments in Eminent Domain.
The workshop attracts top federal, state, regional and local agency lawyers and outside counsel from across the country, providing a forum for transportation organizations to discuss cutting edge legal issues and collaborate on solutions or strategies for dealing with them.
The TRB is one of seven major programs of the National Academies of Sciences, Engineering and Medicine, and receives its major funding from the constituent entities of the USDOT and the 50 state DOTs as well as regional and local authorities. Chris is a Member of the TRB’s Standing Committee on Eminent Domain and Land Use.
