Gust Rosenfeld Welcomes New Associate To Phoenix Office

Gust Rosenfeld is pleased to welcome Calvin J. Platten, Jr., who will enhance the firm’s litigation practice.

Mr. Platten primarily practices in the areas of commercial, construction, insurance, and real estate litigation. He is licensed to practice in federal and state courts and also handles alternative dispute resolution proceedings. Mr. Platten also handles hearings before the Arizona Registrar of Contractors, Arizona Department of Real Estate, and Arizona Association of Realtors.

Mr. Platten represents insurance carriers and self-insured businesses of varying sizes in commercial matters. He has a broad legal background ranging from commercial litigation to extensive experience in commercial and real estate transactions. Mr. Platten has published several articles in the Arizona Journal of Real Estate and Business on real estate and litigation topics.

In 2005, Platten earned his J.D. from the Ohio State University, Moritz College of Law. He received his undergraduate degree in Broadcast Journalism, magna cum laude, from Arizona State University in 2002.
