(Phoenix, AZ) February 26, 2021 – Gust Rosenfeld, P.L.C. is pleased to announce that Timothy A. Stratton
has been appointed to the Arizona State Board for Charter Schools by Governor Doug Ducey.
The Board is responsible for overseeing more than 550 public charter schools in Arizona and is one of the nation's largest independent state authorizers of charter schools. The Board also monitors academic performance as well as fiscal and contractual compliance of Arizona charter schools.
"I look forward to serving on the Board and working with other state leaders to improve educational outcomes in our great state" said Tim.
Tim focuses his practice on public finance and Section 103 tax law. He represents colleges and universities, special districts, cities, towns and other Arizona local government entities in all matters related to the issuance of municipal securities. He also maintains an active practice as underwriter, disclosure and bank counsel on publicly and privately offered debt issues.
Tim currently serves as the President of the City of Scottsdale Industrial Development Authority and has previously served as the Chairman of the City of Scottsdale Board of Adjustment. He also serves as a Bar Examiner and member of the Arizona Supreme Court Committee on Examinations, the body that administers and oversees the Arizona Bar Examination.
