Michael Goodman Appointed to Board of Osteopathic Examiners

(Phoenix, AZ) August 10, 2021 – Gust Rosenfeld, P.L.C. is pleased to announce that Michael C. S. J. Goodman has been appointed to the Arizona Board of Osteopathic Examiners in Medicine and Surgery.

The Arizona Board of Osteopathic Examiners’ mission is to protect the public by setting educational and training standards for licensure, and by reviewing complaints made against osteopathic physicians, interns, and residents to ensure that their conduct meets the standards of the profession. The Board is made up of five osteopathic doctors and two members of the public who do not have financial ties to the osteopathic profession. The Governor appoints each member.

Michael Goodman’s practice focuses on government, municipal, and public law, including land use, development, open meeting law, conflict of interest, public records, construction law, elections, campaign finance law, annexations, civil rights, code enforcement and compliance, community facilities districts, procurement, utilities, and water resources.

Michael earned his J.D. from the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University and his B.S. in Sociology from Arizona State University. While in law school, he gained legal experience externing and law clerking for various law firms and organizations, including the City of Tempe and the U.S. Department of the Interior, and by practicing as a Certified Limited Practice Student through the ASU Civil Litigation Clinic.
